Welcome to the European Neurotrauma summit 2025!
November 12 - 14, Lund, Sweden
We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming European Neurotrauma Summit in Lund, Sweden! This event promises to be a milestone in advancing knowledge and collaboration in the field of neurotrauma. Set in one of Scandinavia's most historic and vibrant university cities, this conference is an opportunity to shape the future of neurotrauma and research alongside global experts.
Neurotrauma, encompassing traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and spinal cord injuries (SCI), continues to be a leading cause of disability and death worldwide. Each year, millions of lives are affected, with profound consequences for individuals, families, and healthcare systems. This underscores the urgent need for innovative strategies in prevention, management, and recovery.
There has been remarkable developments in the field in recent years, from novel diagnostic tools like advanced neuroimaging and biomarkers to significant insights into the biology of injury and repair. Emerging therapeutic approaches, including neuroregeneration and personalized rehabilitation, are reshaping the possibilities for patient outcomes. Ongoing research and interdisciplinary collaboration remain pivotal to addressing these challenges and opportunities.
A Collaborative Effort
Next year’s conference is a collaboration with between the European Neurotrauma Organization (ENO), the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS). These partnerships reflect our commitment to fostering multidisciplinary approaches and integrating perspectives from critical care, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation science. Together, we aim to bridge knowledge gaps and create improved therapeutic possibilities for neurotrauma. The three organisations represent all aspects of neurotrauma research in Europe and will present scientific advances from the preclinical to the clinical setting.
