We are delighted to welcome you to EUROMAR 2026!
The 22nd edition of the European NMR Congress, hosted this year in Gothenburg, Sweden.
While the congress format is reassuringly familiar, with its carefully timed sessions, interspersed with networking breaks and a collaborative atmosphere, the location changes—highlighting the diversity of Europe’s scientific communities. From Crete to Dublin, Bilbao to Oulu, and now, again, Gothenburg, each city adds its own character to our shared tradition.
Situated on Sweden’s west coast, Gothenburg is a thriving centre for science and innovation. With the two major universities – the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology – a leading university hospital, and a strong presence in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, the city offers an ideal setting for both academic exchange and applied research.
The strong national coordination and infrastructure for NMR in Sweden, notably through SwedNMR, has been an important factor in hosting EUROMAR 2026.
The EUROMAR meetings continue to foster rich opportunities for networking, mentoring, and collaboration across disciplines and generations. As always, we extend a warm welcome to students and early-career researchers, whose contributions are vital to the strength and future of our field.
We look forward to reconnecting, learning, and exploring together in Gothenburg 2026 – where tradition, innovation, and community meet.
