Jon Barratt
Lt Col Barratt is a dual accredited EM and PHEM Consultant in the British Army. He has undertaken fellowships in Trauma Surgery (Royal London) and ECMO (Guy's and St Thomas'). He has been involved in the UK DMS REBOA programme since its inception and regularly trains military teams in REBOA.

Ken Boffard
Professor Ken Boffard is a Sub-specialist in Trauma Surgery and Trauma Critical Care. He is Trauma Director and Academic Head at Milpark Hospital Academic Trauma Center, and Professor Emeritus, in Surgery of the University of the Witwatersrand. He has recently been awarded membership of the Academy of Master Surgical Educators of the American College of Surgeons. For the last 5 years he has been Gäst Professor at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden  He is Secretary General and Past President of the International Society of Surgery (ISS) in Switzerland, and a Past President of the International Association for Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care (IATSIC).   He is a Colonel at the School for Military Health Training of the South African Military Health Service  His interests include blast and ballistic injury, trauma resuscitation, intensive care, planning of Trauma Systems, Aviation Medicine (he is a licensed fixed wing and helicopter pilot) and scuba diving. His research interests include coagulation, hemostasis and surgical education.

Anahita Dua
Dr Anahita Dua is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a vascular surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the director of the vascular lab, co-director of the peripheral artery disease center, associate director of the wound care program, and director of the lymphedema center. She specializes in advanced endovascular and open techniques for the care of patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic limb disease, aortic disease, carotid disease, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), and venous disease. She completed her vascular surgery fellowship at Stanford Hospital, General Surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and medical school in the United Kingdom. She also has completed a masters degree in trauma sciences, an MBA in Healthcare Management, a certificate in health economics and outcomes research as well as a certificate in drug and device development from MIT. She is nationally certified in advanced wound care and management.   Dr. Dua has published over 125 peer reviewed papers and has edited four vascular surgery medical textbooks. She serves on multiple national vascular surgery committees through the Society for Vascular Surgery and other vascular organizations.

Stephan Haulon
After graduating from medical school at the Paris VI University in 1994, Stéphan Haulon started a general and vascular surgery residency at the Lille University Hospital. This was followed by a vascular surgery fellowship in 2000. In 2002 he defended his PhD-thesis in Biomaterial research and then left France to do a research endovascular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, under the supervision of Dr. Roy K. Greenberg. In 2003 he returned to Lille as a staff vascular surgeon at the University Hospital. In 2006 he was appointed Professor of Vascular Surgery. In 2009 he was invited to chair the vascular surgical department in Lille, and in 2017 was appointed chairman of the Aortic Centre at Hôpital Marie Lannelongue, Groupe Hospitalier Paris Saint Joseph, Université Paris Saclay.  Stéphan's main interest is in aortic surgery, particularly the endovascular treatment of complex thoraco-abdominal, arch aortic aneurysms and dissections, and intra-operative imaging applications. He has published extensively in the international peer review literature and is considered a key opinion leader on these subjects.  He is a co-director of the Paris Vascular Insights meeting, of the Critical Issues in Aortic Endografting Expert Symposium, and of the annual Charing Cross Symposium. He was elected councilor at the board of the European Society for Vascular Surgery and at the board of the French Society for Vascular Surgery, and a SVS member. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery, the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, and the Annals of Vascular Surgery.  Finally, Stephan was the president elect of the European Society for Vascular Surgery 2019-2020.

Zaffer Qasim
Dr. Qasim is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Karachi. He completed residency and fellowship training in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care in the United Kingdom, where he also worked as an attending (consultant) emergency physician and operational EMS physician. He moved to the United States to complete training in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland before moving to Philadelphia. Zoran Rancic
Zoran Rancic, MD, PhD is vascular surgeon educated in general and vascular surgery at Nis, and Belgrade University Hospital, Serbia, at St Mary’s Hospital London, UK and University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland. He is Privat Dozent working in Clinic for Vascular Surgery at University Hospital Zurich. His clinical and research interests are advanced endovascular surgery of complex aortic aneurysms, focus on rupture and dissections. He is one of driving forces behind the MARZ (Management of Aortic Rupture Zurich) workshop under auspice of ESVS.

Paul Rees
Based at Barts Heart Centre in London, Paul is the lead for the resuscitation service within Barts Health NHS Trust and co-chairs the British Cardiac Intervention Society’s cardiac arrest group.  He works as a military HEMS consultant at East Anglian Air Ambulance, where he forms part of the research and innovation team.  As an interventional operator he lead the formation of the Defence Endovascular Resuscitation group, bringing novel resuscitation techniques to battlefield resuscitation. He has wide experience of deployed military prehospital care, having operated remotely in submarines, providing front-line medical support on commando operations overseas, and as a consultant on the MERT in Afghanistan.  His duties have also encompassed humanitarian and disaster response duties in Africa and the Caribbean.

Col Tom Woolley is the Defence Professor of Military Anaesthesia and Critical Care. As well as being Chairman of The Defence Transfusion Committee. He is a consultant anaesthetist at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with an interest in Hepato-biliary and colorectal anaesthesia. Research interests include Trauma resuscitation, with a. focus in blood based resucitation and the management of trauma induced coagulopathy. Col Woolley is the military academic lead for CBRN matters.

Carlos Yánez
Carlos Yánez is a General, GI, Acute Care, and Trauma Surgeon from Zaragoza, Spain. He is a board member of the Trauma and Emergency Surgery Chapter of the Spanish Surgical Association and the chapter's Journal Club coordinator.  Additionally, he is an international DSTC Instructor, a Stop the Bleed Ambassador, and founder of the RAHM course (Resuscitation & Advanced Hemorrhage Control) of the Lozano Blesa University Hospital. Carlos is also a member of the Advisory Board of the European Journal of Trauma and Emergency Surgery, and a Board member of the Disaster and Military Surgery as well as the Emergency Surgery sections of the European Society for Trauma & Emergency Surgery (ESTES).
