How to get to Lindholmen Conference Center 

The conference centre’s central location in Gothenburg means that it is only a 6 min bus ride from the central station and Landvetter airport 25 min. There are also car and bicycle pools at your disposal and the Älvsnabben ferry takes you over the river in 4 minutes into the city centre.

Älvsnabben and Älvsnabbare
Älvsnabben and Älvsnabbare are the two boat lines that take you across the Göta Älv. Line 285 Älvsnabben runs along the river with several stops both on Hisingen and the mainland, while line 286 Älvsnabbare only runs between Stenpiren and Lindholmspiren. Line 287 runs between Stenpiren and Lundbystrand.

Älvsnabben runs via the stops Lilla Bommens hamn (not during summer timetable) - Stenpiren - Lindholmspiren - Slottberget - Eriksbergs färjeläge - Klippans Färjeläge and back.

Älvsnabbare runs Monday-Friday between the stops Stenpiren and Lindholmspiren. Älvsnabbare is free of charge.

By Bus

Between Lindholmens Conference Center and Doctoral Colloqium.

To get from Lindholmen Conference Center to the Doctoral Colloquium at Kapellplatsen, simply take Bus 16. The nearest bust stop, Lindholmen, is just a short walk from the conference center.

Board Bus 16 at the Lindholmen bus stop heading towards Eriksbergstorget.

The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes, passing through central Gothenburg and across the Göta River.

Get off at the Kapellplatsen bus stop, which is conveniently located just a short walk from the colloquium venue.

Walk from Lindholmen to Eriksberg

For those who prefer to walk, there is a scenic route along the waterfront between Lindholmen and Eriksberg. The walk takes about 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Göta River, perfect for enjoying Gothenburg’s maritime charm.
