About Lund

Lund is one of the oldest cities in Sweden with settlements that can be traced back to around 100 BC. It is also the home for one of the oldest universities in Sweden, Lund University, that is unarguably famous for its innovation and technology and is consistently ranked among the world’s top 100 universities.

Lund is located only 20 km from Malmö and there are both busses and trains that run around the clock between the cities. 


What to see & do

✔ Make sure to visit the Lund Cathedral which is almost a 1000 years old with many exciting sotries inside and outside the walls. 

✔ The botanical gardens - a lovely green oasis in the middle of the city. The Botanical gardens are a place for both inquiring minds and recreation seekers. Visit the gardens, greenhouses, shop and café.

✔ Stop by Kulturen, of of the world’s first open-air museums covers two blocks in the middle of Lund.
