Welcome to the annual meeting of the Scandinavian Association of Thoracic Surgery (SATS) 2025! 

17-19 September

Dear colleagues, nurses, collaborators and friends, 

We would like to invite you to the annual SATS meeting that will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland on 17-19 September, 2025. The venue of the meeting is the famous award-winning congress center Harpa, right in the center of Reykjavik. 

The meeting will be an in-person conference consisting of plenary lectures, invited talks, and abstract sessions. The scientific program will cover different aspects of cardiothoracic surgery and anaesthesia with dedicated symposia about cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery and nursing. We have invited well-known authorities from and outside of Scandinavia to ensure high quality.
