Abstract submission for ARCH26
We welcome the submission of abstracts for the ARCH26 conference!
Abstract information
Abstracts can be submitted for the following types of presentations:
- Academic paper - a complete paper of 8-10 pages, publication details to be presented in the beginning of 2026
- Academic poster - a 70x100 cm poster communicating effectively with a focussed intro and main results/analysis. A detailed format will be presented in the beginning of 2026. Poster will not be passive, rather active and linked to an introductory presentation in plenum.
- Practice lab - projects in the intersection of practice and research presented via input/texts, in an executive format, that can be the starting point for a discussion on best practice and professional development. Practice lab papers/texts are descriptions of projects/experiences from projects that can contribute to development of best practice. ARCH26 aim to integrate these with research presentations on similar topics or a separate short workshop depending on content of material sent in. For submission send in a short text, executive summary, describing project/professional experiences/development that you mean contribute to development of best practice (see also info on abstract submission page). We aim for reflective and open presentations, not project reports. The conference is a knowledge development platform for us all to meet.
Implementation of methods, research findings and testing of research based tools and methods is also intervention in practice, however, we consider those tests and pilots worthy of evaluation and analysis and we would consider that for a presentation in a paper.
N.B.
- Abstracts are to be submitted for evaluation of appropriateness for the conference. An abstract format will be presented and required for accepted abstracts/papers.
- The practice lab is aimed at practitioners that want to discuss experiences from their practice as a starting point for a discussion on best practice and professional development. It is not aimed at research dissemination.
- The executive format used for the practice lab, once abstract has been accepted, is a concise, focussed summary of a longer document, report, structured data or project information, designed to give readers a quick overview of key/important information. It includes an introduction that outlines the problem/focus, a summary of key data/findings, recommendations, and, in this case, a statement on how what is being presented contribute to development of best practice. It is a brief, short and consice document using short paragraphs and bullet points for clarity.
Deadline for submission:
The deadline is December 16th, 2025.
