Welcome reception at Copenhagen City Hall
May 22nd 17.30 - 19.30

In the heart of Copenhagen, you will find Copenhagen City Hall. Copenhagen City Hall was built in 1892-1905 and was designed by architect Martin Nyrop. Martin Nyrop was inspired by the town halls of Italy, and the building is today considered as a classic of the National Romantic style. City of Copenhagen is generously inviting us to a Welcome Reception on Wednesday May 22nd.

There is a a longstanding tradition of serving prominent guests and sports stars the so-called 'rådhuspandekager' – 'town hall pancakes'. It's a pancake filled with an orange cream, rolled and with a top layer consisting of apricot jam and baked almonds. The tradition can be traced back to 1928 and the tradition will continue this evening. The reception starts at 17:30 and will end at 19:30.

Attendance is free for NECTM9-2024 participants, but pre-registration is required. There is a limited amount of tickets so please make sure to register in time. The dresscode is casual.
