Via Nordica is cancelled

The NVF board has decided to cancelled the congress Via Nordica. We are sorry for this and the inconvenience. Here you can read a letter from Lena Erixon, NVF chair.

"Dear all,

The Via Nordica was due to be held in Malmö, 10-12 June 2020. However the Swedish government decided 11/3 that no meetings with more than 500 participants will be allowed as a proactive measure to tackle the coronavirus. We also know that in other Nordic countries, like Denmark and Norway, there has been similar decisions. Therefore the NVF board reached the conclusion at its board meeting the 12/3 that we have to cancel the event.

At NVF, we have an obligation to our community to meet the quality and expectations associated with our brand and to protect the safety of all of our members. This decision was made after careful consultation with the members of the NVF board.
We are of course very sorry about this and that NVF Sweden will not be able to welcome you to Malmö and the
Via Nordica Congress 2020.

WELCOME TO VIA NORDICA 2020 
                          Future mobility - sustainable ways

The congress Via Nordica is organised by the Nordic Road Association (NVF). NVF is an industry collaboration with members from both the public and the private sectors, and has around 320 member organisations in the Nordic countries. Our vision is - Expertise without frontiers. We exchange information, knowledge, experiences, and best practices among the Nordic countries. Work in NVF is organised in 4-year periods which culminate in a congress. Sweden leads the work towards the Via Nordica congress in Malmö 2020.

The congress is open to experts beyond the Nordic countries, who would like to share our experience and bring an international element to this Nordic Congress. Via Nordica 2020 will take place at Clarion Hotel & Congress, Malmö Live close to the city centre in Malmö, Sweden.

NVF's mission is to promote development in the road and transport sector through cooperation among professionals in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
