ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Please read this information before you submit your abstract. Link to submission is in the end of this page.
You should only submit an abstract if you intend to attend the congress and be physically present. If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the congress
no later than May 5th 2025. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology.
Deadline for abstract submission is March 31st 2025.
ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION
All abstracts received by the indicated deadline will be evaluated by a panel of experts. The
submitting author will receive a confirmation of acceptance for oral presentation, poster
discussion or poster presentation, or a notice of rejection, by email by April 28th 2025.
Poster guidelines will be sent to abstract submitters by June 1st.
ABSTRACT STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
• Language: Abstracts should be written in English.
• Abstract title: The title (including spaces) should not exceed 30 words and should be written in sentence case. Please do not type a full stop (.) at the end of the title.
• Category: Abstracts must be submitted under one of the following categories/topics:

Autoinflammatory disease, VEXAS and other monogenic diseases
Behcet's disease
Crystal related disorders
Immunodeficiency
Infection
Infection-related rheumatic diseases

Abstract text: The abstract should not exceed 800 words including spaces and
punctuation.
The abstract must be structured in the following four specified subtitles:
• Background incl. aims
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions
Tables/graphs/images: A total maximum of any two figures, graphs, images or tables is allowed per abstract, (e.g. 1 graph and 1 table, or 2 graphs, or 2 images) and can be inserted as one PDF file of a maximum of 20 MB.
Abstracts with one or more tables should not have more than 12 columns or 20 rows. Tables turned into pictures/images are accepted, they but should have sufficient quality that everything is readable. Data in images cannot be edited after the abstract has been accepted. Abstracts can be re-edited and modified until the submission deadline.
After the submission deadline, NO modification will be accepted by the evaluation team.
