The area with the pharmaceutical companies' stands, the "industry exhibition", is only open to employees of the pharmaceutical industry, doctors, researchers and other health care personnel. This is because the pharmaceutical industry's ethical regulations distinguish between information and marketing of medicines intended for staff and information intended for the general public. The restriction also applies to the Get together/quiz on Wednesday and the industry symposium held each day in the regular program. For participants who do not have access to the industrial exhibition, lunch and coffee/tea will be served outside the exhibition area.
