Medicinteknikdagarna 2021

5-6 oktober

The Swedish Society for Medical Engineering (MTF) in collaboration with Lund University and Region Skåne welcomes you to Medicinteknikdagarna 2021, held digitally on October 5-6, 2021

Medicinteknikdagarna are arranged annually by the Swedish Society for Medical Engineering (MTF) and usually attract about 400-500 participants. In 2021 it was planned to hold the conference in Skåne. The committees and the board of  MTF have, after careful consideration, decided to arrange the conference with a full programme, but in a digital format. We are convinced that this conference has an important place in the Swedish medical device arena even in a digital format.

Region Skåne and Lund University will be hosting this stimulating and important national conference in the field of medical devices for the second time,

For two intensive days, Medicinteknikdagarna bring together key stakeholders in Sweden, such as the biomedical engineering organizations, researchers, industry, and other experts, as well as representatives of healthcare and government agencies, and the country's medical device clusters. The medical device industry will be able to present its newest technological achievements in a virtual exhibition and during designated presentations.

Just as in a physical meeting, the goal of this year’s Medicinteknikdagarna is to inspire and offer interesting plenary talks, latest news from the field of biomedical engineering, panel discussions, and research presentations. We want to offer a meeting arena that promotes networking and national cooperation initiatives to further advance the field. The organizers will work intensively on the digital format to allow participants to have an experience that is close to the physical meeting. While the main language of the conference is Swedish, we are also planning for scientific sessions in English, to allow non-Swedish speaking participants from inside and outside of Sweden to share their work.

Welcome to participate or contribute to the program with a presentation or poster of your own work and be inspired and take part in other participants development!

Welcome!
