Arlanda Airport
Arlanda Airport is located 49 km North of Stockholm. The Arlanda Express is the train service that links Stockholm City with the Airport. 

Arlanda Express: Arlanda Express is a fast, comfortable and environmentally friendly way to travel between Arlanda Airport and Stockholm C. The journey takes only 18 minutes. Trains depart six times every hour during peak hours, and every fifteen minutes at other times. The train interior has received several awards for its design, interior and service. Arlanda express has also been named the best express train to and from an airport. Welcome on board!

Taxi: We recommend that you request a fixed price from the airport to the city.

Bus: There is a direct bus connection from Arlanda Airport to the City Terminal/Central station in Stockholm. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The bus leaves every 10 minutes.

It has a stop outside KI Aula Medica (stop ‘Karolinska Sjukhuset Eugeniavägen’ and the closest to Carolina Tower).
 
*Route Arlanda Airport >> Stockholm C (Cityterminalen)
It has a stop outside the Elite hotel (stop ‘Norra Stationsgatan’)

Letter of invitation
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorisation to attend the congress will have to email MKON upon registration. A letter of invitation often facilitates the procedure of obtaining a visa. Please note the letter is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support.

Visa
Participants needing a visa for entry to Sweden are strongly advised to make their application in their home country and well in advance. If in doubt, information can be obtained from your nearest Swedish Embassy or consulate, or from your travel agency. Please note that whilst invitation letters will be sent in advance of the Congress, neither the WASOG nor the Congress Organisers can be held responsible for failure to obtain a visa and in such an event it will not be possible to reimburse the registration or the hotel fee.

Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be provided for all participants. The Certificate of Attendance will be sent out by e-mail the week after the congress.


Badges
The participant's name badge will be provided at the registration desk. All participants are requested to wear the
badge throughout the congress. Only badge holders will be admitted to the sessions.

However, neither the WASOG nor its committees, representatives or agents, shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of the congress or of any of the arrangements, programs or plans connected therewith, or for any injury, damage or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such person's presence in Sweden in connection with this Congress. Participants and accompanying persons are advised to purchase their own insurance against any such occurrences.

Business hours & shopping
Shops are open between 10.00 and 18.00 hrs on weekdays and from 10.00 to 15.00 on Saturdays. Shops in the city centre have extended opening hours, some even on Sundays between 12.00 and 16.00 hrs.

International credit cards are accepted for payments in hotels, restaurants and shops.
