You will also get a 25 minute guided tour around the ship and learn more about the history of the ship including the construction, the maiden voyage, the sinking, the salvage  – and much more. Buses will depart from Aula Medica to Vasa Museum, look in the program for the exact departure time.

Swedish midsummer at Skansen, Tuesday June 20 at 18:00 

Swedish midsummer celebration will be held at Skansen, https://skansen.se/

Enjoy an authentic and exclusive experience, and get a glimpse of town life the way it used to be in the mid-19th century. Step inside homes and shops, each place telling their tales from Swedish history. Let’s celebrate midsummer! Experience the spirit of Swedish Midsummer together with Skansen Folk dancers. The dancers are dressed in beautiful costumes from different parts of Sweden and the music is played by the Skansen Folk Musicians. Get ready! After a short performance, you are welcome to join in the dances. Afterwards a summer-themed dinner will be served. Buses will depart from Aula Medica to Skansen, look in the program for the exact departure time.

If you want to get there on your own:

Bus or tram
Tram line 7 runs from T-centralen to Djurgården. The museum tram line 7N runs from Norrmalmstorg to Skansen. The cafe train goes all the way around via Waldemarsudde and Bellmansro.

Bus number 67 goes from Odenplan to Skansen. You can also take bus number 69 or 76 to Djurgårdsbron and then walk the last part (950 meters).

With the help of videos, donated artifacts and in-depth guided tours you meet freedom fighters, writers and scientists
