On behalf of the Swedish Society for Materials Science and Vacuum Technology and IUVSTA we are thrilled to invite you to attend the 21st IVC Conference where advanced technology and materials research meet challenges in basic science as well as in industrial applications.
The IVC-21 will be the world’s premier conference on key technologies that are required to address many of the world’s Grand Challenges, including in energy, health, water cleaning, climate, materials resources and future transportation technology.
IVC has an almost 60 years long history of being one of the worlds most recognized conferences and the meeting place where the most recent advances in science and technology are presented and discussed. IVC-21 will thus be a combination of IVC with ICSS-17 (17th International Conference on Surface Science), the ICN+T 2019 (The 2019 International Conference on Nanoscience + Technology), and NanoForum 2019.
IVC-21 will be held in Malmö in southern Sweden, a region internationally known for its strong research and industrial base in Material Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Telecommunication and Life Science.
Malmö is located in the heart of the Greater Copenhagen Area and close to the Copenhagen International Airport which is only 20 min away from the conference site using the commuter train. Malmö is also located 10 min from Lund with its famous University and the large-scale research facilities, the synchrotron source MAX IV and the European neutron spallation source ESS.
The IVC-21 will follow the tradition of previous IVC conferences with a broad programme, exhibitions and courses, but we will put an emphasis on Material Science, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Life Science and Science based on Large Scale Infrastructures.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Malmö, Sweden in July 1-5, 2019!
